1/2 kg boneless chicken, spring onions, whole red chilies, 10 cloves of garlic, 1 1/2 tsp cornflour, soy sauce, 3 tsp white vinegar, salt to taste, 2 to 3 green chilies, ajinomoto, cooking oil.
Cut chicken into small pieces. Grind garlic and green chilies to make a paste. Rub the chicken pieces with this paste. Add 3 tsp of white vinegar, 2 tsp of soy sauce, 1/4 tsp of ajinomoto and salt to taste. Marinate the chicken with the above ingredients for 2 hours. Heat 2 tsp cooking oil and fry the chicken pieces till they are tender. Take out the chicken pieces and lightly fry chopped spring onions and dry red chilies in the same oil for about 2 minutes. Add 1 1/2 tsp of cornflour in 2 cups of water and add it to the onions. Also add the left over marinade to the pan. Let it boil while stirring. Ad 1 tsp of soy sauce to it. Boil for about 5 minutes till gravy thickens. Add the fried chicken pieces to this gravy and let it heat through.
