Spicy mutton snack

Ingredients

500 grams mutton mince, 50 grams chana dal, 50 grams onions, 2 or 3 green chillis, 6 or 8 garlic cloves, 2 inch piece of ginger, 2 teaspoons coriander powder, 2 cardamoms, a pinch of turmeric, 1 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 or 2 eggs, 1/2 bunch coriander leaves, salt to taste

Method

Soak dal for 2 hours. Then mix it with mince and add cardamoms, salt, half of the onions, garlic, ginger and green chillis - all chopped and boiled. Grind the rest. Grind dal and mince mixture into a paste along with the dry masala. Bind with egg and divide the mixture into equal portions. Make into flat and round balls, 2 inches in diameter. Fry till brown. Serve hot with onion rings and chopped coriander leaves and mint chutney.
