Nuts and Rasins Spice Cake
A wonderful hand written recipe gifted to me many years back

3 Large cups cake flour, 2 cups sugar, 1 1/2 cups sunflower oil/margarine/butter, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 2 teaspoons vanilla essence, 1/2 teaspoon rose white essence, 25 cloves, 10 elaichis, 1 small piece cinnamon, 300 grams raisins, 200 grams cashew nuts, 6 tablespoons caramel syrup, 60 ml brandy, 6 eggs
1. Put the raisins in a bowl and pour 60 ml brandy on them and keep for 24 hours
2. Beat sugar and egg in mixy for 2 minutes
3. Put oil or butter in a bowl and mix cake flour, baking powder, sugar and eggs
4. Add caramel syrup to the bowl and put all ingredients
5. Now mix the essence
6. Pour mixture into a greased tray or oven bowl
7. Bake at 140 degrees C for 45 minutes
