Chicken daliya

Onion (प्याज) - 1 large (chopped)
Green Chilli (हरी मिर्च) - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Ginger garlic paste (अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट) - 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर) - 1 tsp
Cumin powder (जीरा पाउडर) - 2 tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder (कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर) - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder (गरम मसाला पाउडर) - 1/4 tsp
Salt (नमक) - to taste
Tomato (टमाटर) - 1 medium (chopped)
Curd (दही) - 2 tbsp (optional)
Cook onions in mustard oil. Then add the green chillis and the ginger garlic paste. Cook for two minutes. Add the masalas with some water. Cook. Turn heat down. Add two spoons of dahi (skip if no dahi). Stir the dahi constantly so it does not split. Add the dalia. Add water. Mix everything. On a low medium flame, cover and cook for twenty minutes, stirring every 5 minutes
