Chettinad chicken

Ingredients

15 pcs of boneless chicken, haldi and salt to taste, oil, dhania, Saunf, Black pepper, Cumin seeds, Cloves 2, Cardamom small and big both, cinnamon, couple of bay leaves, garlic cloves 4, dry red chillies, coconut, ginger, tamarind, chopped onions, curry leaves

Method

Marinade 15 pcs of boneless chicken for one hour in 4 lemons, haldi and salt to taste In a pan. Heat oil. Add dhania, Saunf, Black pepper, Cumin seeds, Cloves 2, Cardamom small and big both, cinnamon. Add couple of bay leaves garlic cloves 4 dry red chillies also. Sauté them all together. Get them to a brown color. Take them on a plate let the spices cool. Grate coconut. Put in pan and saute to a brown sumptuous color. Mix the top two in a bowl. Let it cool. Put in a grinder. Add ginger and tamarind and water. Make a fine paste of the same. Take a pan. Put oil. Add chopped onions like petals. Add curry leaves. Add the already marinaded chicken. Saute for 3 minutes. Add fine paste. Add salt. Let the chicken cook on simmer gas till it cooks Add water as per the reqd to cook the chicken.
