Pav bhaji

Ingredients

2 tablespoon butter, 3 tomatoes, 1/4 cups peas, 1/2 capsicum, 2 potatoes, 1 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1 1/2 teaspoon bhaji masala, 2 teaspoon kasuri methi, 3 table spoon coriander leaves, 1 teaspoon garlic paste, 1 onion, 1/2 lemon, red food color, pav bread.

Method

In a pan put 1 table spoon butter, 3 finely chopped tomatoes, 1/4 cup peas, half a capsicum finely chopped, 2 potatoes boiled and mashed and 1 teaspoon salt and saute for 2 minutes. Add half a cup of water and mix well and cover and boil for 10 minutes. Then mash the mix till you get a smooth texture. Then add 1 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon pav bhaji masala, 1 teaspoon kasuri methi and 2 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves and saute for 1 minute pushing the mix to the side of the pan leaving a gap in the middle in which put 1 tablespoon butter, 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder,1/2 teaspoon pave bhaji masala, 1 teaspoon kasuri methi, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1 finely chopped onion, squeeze half a lemon on top and saute for 1 minute, add 3 drops of red food color and mix well. Add half a cup of water and mix again to adjust the consistency. Boil and mash for 3 minutes to a smooth texture. This is now ready to serve. Now in fresh pan take 1/teaspoon butter, a pinch of red chilli powder, a pinch of pav bhaji masala and 1 teaspoon coriander leaves finely chopped and saute on low flame. Take the pav bread slit it into half and spread it on the masala and toast both side of it mildly on the pan. Now serve it along with the bhaji already prepared with some finely chopped raw onion on the plate.
