Chilli Cheese Toast

Ingredients

8 slicesl bread, 1 1/2 cups grated cheese, 4 to 6 green chillies, 1/2 cups fresh coriander leaves, 1 medium sized onion, 1 medium sized capsicum, 1 tsp peppercorns crushed, salt to taste.

Method

Remove stem, wash and finely chop the green chillies, clean, wash and chop coriander leaves. Peel, wash and chop onion. Wash, halve, deseed and chop capsicum. In a bowl, mix cheese, green chillies, coriander leaves, onion, capsicum, crushed peppercorns and salt. Divide the mixture into eight equal portions. Toast the bread slices on ones side on a tawa. Apply the cheese mixture on the non-toasted side of the bread slices. Grill in a preheated oven (180 degrees C) until the cheese melts and turns golden brown. Cut each slice diagonally into two and serve hot with sauce of your choice.
