Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce

• 200gm chicken –cut into size pieces (can be boneless or with bones)
• 3 tbsp oil
• 2-3dried red chillies-broken into pieces and deseeded
• 2tbsp finely chopped garlic
• 1 tsp red chilli powder
• 1 cup tomato puree
• 1-2tsp sugar (according to taste)
• 1-2tsp soya sauce
• ¼ tsp ajinomoto (optional)
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 ½ tbsp cornflour dissolved in ½ cup water (increase water if more gravy is desired)
• 1tsp sherry (optional)
In the dish, mix oil, broken red chilies, red chili powder and chopped garlic. Micro high for 3 minutes uncovered. Add chicken and all other ingredients except corn flour. Micro high covered for 5 minutes. Add cornflour paste. Mix well. Micro high uncovered for 3 minutes or till the sauce boils. Let it stand for 2-3 minutes. Mix well before serving.
