Ginger Chicken

Ingredients

400gm chicken – cut into small pieces 3tbsp Soya sauce 1 ½” piece ginger – grated 1 ½” piece ginger -thinly sliced 3-4 spring onions – chopped along with the green part 2tbsp sherry (optional) ½ tsp ajinomoto (optional) ½ tsp salt 1 ½ tsp pepper 2 tbsp corn flour 2tbsp oil

Method

In the dish, mix oil, chicken grated ginger, sherry, spring onion and soya sauce. Micro high covered for 4 minutes. Add salt, pepper and sliced ginger. Mix well. Dissolve cornflour in 2-3 tbsp water. Add to chicken. Mix well. Micro high uncovered for 3 minutes. Let it stand 2 minutes. Mix well. Serve hot.
