Dahiwala Chicken

• 1 chicken (800 gm) –cut into 8 pieces
• 1 cup thick curd
• 1tbsp poodina (mint) leaves –minced or finely chopped (optional)
• 1tsp salt
• 1tbsp corn flour mixed in 1 tbsp curd
• 1tbsp oil
• 1 small onion – chopped
• 2-3 green chilies –(adjust to taste)
• 1” piece ginger
• 1tsp garam masala
• A few mint & coriander leaves –chopped
• Some kasoori methi
Grind together onion, ginger and green chilies to a paste. In the dish, add 1 tbsp oil and onion paste. Mix well. Add chicken and all other ingredients except corn flour. Mix well. Micro high uncovered 10 minutes. Stir once after 5 minutes. Mix corn flour in 1tbsp curd. Add to the chicken and mix well. Micro high uncovered for 2-3 minutes. Let it stand for 2 minutes. Sprinkle chopped mint, coriander leaves and kasoori methi. Serve hot.
Note: If thicker gravy is desired, increase corn flour to 2 tbsp.
